Latex balloons can be filled with helium for decorating in balloon bouquets, tied to weights, or floating from the ceiling; or they can be used in our custom balloon decor like arches or garlands.

Balloon Facts

  • We guarantee the quality of our balloons.

​

  • Quality latex balloons filled with helium float for 8-10 hours. Ask us about foil balloons if you would like balloons that float 3-4+ days.

​

  • Additives can be added to latex balloons prior to inflation to extend the float time.

​​

  • Air-filled latex balloons can last several days and even up to months in the right environment.

​

  • When picking balloon colors in person, always have a balloon inflated with air to properly match event colors--the color of an uninflated latex balloon can be very different from an inflated one.

​

  • The standard size for a latex balloon is 12 inches.

​

  • Latex balloons come in many sizes; we carry all of the colors in the charts above in 12" and many of the colors in 1", 2", 3", 5", and 19" sizes.

  • Helium atoms move apart in the heat and together in the cold--hot balloons pop, cold balloons shrink.

​

  • Helium balloons should never be left in the car.

​

  • Helium balloons should never be stowed in the trunk.

​

  • Helium balloons do best in temperatures of 65-72°F (18-22°C).

​

  • Helium is a commodity, meaning prices fluctuate and are generally high.

​

  • We are one of the only stores in South Carolina who inflate balloons purchased elsewhere.
